In 2025 a was approached by Luna Maki, a band who defines themself as psychedelic, groovy and afro beat. For their first albumcover they wanted a main artwork and some singles as well.
During some concept talks with two band members we came to some main topics concerning music that wants to make you move and dance it off. Accompanied by lyrics that stand out for their strong messages the band points out a clear view of how the world around us is not lacking humanity, equality, activism and acceptance.
Strongly inspired by the 'News of the world' album (Queen) a narrative took shape of an entity with a moon shaped head symbolizing both the band and more literally, an eclipse. Holding in its hand a box which erupts with expression and a pit in the other hand, surrounded bij angels and demons, the entity watches how the globe falls into a new possible future, not sure which way its gonna go.
