My name is Mans Weghorst. In the summer of 2017 I graduated from the HKU (university of applied science) BA spatial design, a course which is focused on the creative side of architecture.

After graduating, I picked up illustration. It was a satisfying release to put my own, and the imagination of others, on a blank page and to visualize thoughts working with different styles. In an urge to improve my illustration style and bringing my drawings to life trough movement I applied for a master Animation.

In the summer of 2019 I graduated from the MA Animation at the Master Institute of visual cultures in den Bosch. The graduation film IPIG resembles my artistic point of view and way of working. A poetical, surreal approach to point out to heavy or big topics. A desirable discomfort to get a conversation going.
